Film dari Pink Floyd: The Story of Wish You Were Here (2012) bersinopsis Wish You Were Here, dirilis pada bulan September 1975, adalah album tindak lanjut dari The Dark Side of the Moon yang sukses secara global dan dikutip oleh banyak penggemar, serta anggota band Richard Wright dan David Gilmour, sebagai album Pink Floyd favorit mereka. Pada rilis itu langsung menjadi nomor satu di Inggris dan AS dan menduduki puncak tangga lagu di banyak negara lain di seluruh dunia. Program ini menceritakan kisah pembuatan rilis tengara ini melalui wawancara baru dengan Roger Waters, David Gilmour dan Nick Mason dan wawancara arsip dengan almarhum Richard Wright. Juga ditampilkan adalah perancang lengan Storm Thorgerson, vokalis tamu Roy Harper, sampul depan Burning Man Ronnie Rondell dan yang lainnya yang terlibat dalam penciptaan album. Selain itu, insinyur rekaman asli Brian Humphries meninjau kembali kaset master di Abbey Road Studios untuk menggambarkan aspek -aspek konstruksi lagu.
