Film dari The Real Castaway (2000) bersinopsis Saat Martin Popplewell berusia 15 tahun ia menonton film 'The Blue Lagoon' yang dibintangi Brooke Shields dan Christopher Atkins. Sejak saat itu dia bertekad untuk hidup sebagai orang buangan di Pulau Pasifik yang tidak berpenghuni bersama seorang gadis Friday.
